Health Insurance Coverage
See the "Insurances We Accept" link to the left to see if we accept your insurance. Even if we don't accept your insurance, you can still see us if you have "out-of-network" benefits. In that case, you would pay our full fee, then you would file for reimbursement with your insurance company. If we accept you health insurance, you are generally responsible for your copay and any deductible you may have. You can check your coverage by calling the 800 number on the back of your insurance card and asking these questions:
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
- How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Do I need to get pre-authorization before seeing a therapist?
Our administrative staff will be happy to answer any general questions you may have.
Our standard fees vary depending on the type of service we provide. The fee for most services is $180 a session (each session lasts between 45-55 minutes). If you are using health insurance, you will pay a much lower cost - typically between $10 and $40 for each session.
We may also charge for telephone consultation, report writing, and other ancillary professional work on your behalf.
Cash, check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express cards are accepted for payment. You can make your payment during the session. You can also make a payment online by clicking on "Make a Payment" to the left.
You must give us at least 24-hours' notice to cancel an appointment. If not, you will be charged a $100 fee. You will also be charged this fee if you fail to show for an appointment.
